ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as an Events Specialist responsible for delivering engaging events and experiences to our members in SA and NT. This role plays a vital part in promoting the CA brand and enhancing member engagement. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and executing various face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid events.

- Developing marketing materials and campaigns.

- Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinating regional social media activities and member communications.

- Supporting the coordination of event facilities for member and external client bookings

- Responding to member inquiries and creating opportunities for proactive member interactions and engagement.

- Managing event budgets, monitoring financial protocols, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of all events.

- Utilising Salesforce case management, reporting, and monitoring.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven Events Specialist who thrives in a changing environment. You should be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude. To qualify for this role, you should have:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in corporate, hospitality, or membership settings.

- Expertise in event planning, logistics, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, venue management, vendor management, and communications.

- Experience and confidence in delivering face-to-face, virtual and hybrid events.

- Proven relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders and business partners and event sponsors.

- Exceptional problem-solving, organisation, and time management abilities.

- The capability to work both independently and in a collaborative team.

- Proficiency in computer skills, including CRMs, email marketing platforms, and social media.

- Adaptability and agility in a transforming environment.

- Flexibility to attend /manage events outside of core working hours
