You’ll play a key role in evolving manual tasks into streamlined, self-service processes using platforms like Workday and Culture Amp. You’ll also contribute to People Team projects and initiatives, supporting the Head of People and HR Business Partners.**Key Responsibilities include:*** Analyse and report on HR metrics, providing insights that inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives.* Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of data across HR systems.* Working across multiple teams to help operationalise system updates and continuous improvement activities like integration with other systems, improving our processes.* Coach and train People Leaders on HR practices and responsibilities, helping to build strong leadership capability across the organisation.* Support HR Business Partners in conducting investigations related to performance and behavioural concerns.* Assist with recruitment activities when needed, ensuring a positive candidate experience and safeguarding the company’s employer brand.* Keep informed on contemporary HR practices to continuously expand skills, knowledge and experience**About you:*** Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management is desirable* Ability to apply good judgement to sensitive matters, data and complex problems/solutions* High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information* Ability to work on multiple processes and manage competing priorities* Knowledge of contemporary HR practices including performance management and employment related legislations in Australia and New Zealand* Prior experience with **Workday** will be highly regarded* Ability to build strong relationships at all levels across the business**What we offer:*** Fixed term contract commencing 3 November 2025* Salary range of $80k – 90k plus super* Training and development* Hybrid working model* Novated leasing* Welbeing initiatives including EAP servicesOpteon is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness, where employees are embraced for their unique qualities and valued for their contributions.
