The Role
The ABC is looking for a Manager, ABC Local Hobart to target, commission and deliver programming for ABC Local to ensure maximum focus on audience needs and output quality.
The Job
- Lead editorial direction for local and digital programming
- Select and schedule content to grow audience, oversee program reviews and enhance content quality
- Develop new programs aligned with ABC strategy, and drive social and digital content creation
- Lead the local team, foster ABC-wide collaboration, guide team development and manage budget planning
- Coordinate emergency broadcasts as needed
- Manage internal communications and brand, and chair local executive meetings
- Oversee stakeholder and community engagement
