Job Description

Location: Altona, VIC

Shift: Day (7:00am - 3:00pm)

The Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Apprentice to join our team at our Altona Service Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills needed to become a qualified Maintenance Fitter.

Your Responsibilities:

· Assist with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment under supervision

· Learn to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues

· Participate in preventative maintenance activities

· Support exciting projects and equipment upgrades

· Follow all safety procedures and CHEP standards

· Engage in on-the-job and off-site training as part of your apprenticeship

What We’re Looking For:

· A genuine interest in mechanical systems and hands-on work

· A strong commitment to safety and learning

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Completion of Year 10 (minimum)

· Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
