Corestone Australia is seeking a motivated first-year apprentice to join the team.
As an apprentice stonemason you will learn all aspects of benchtop stonemasonry. This is a full-time position.
The role will primarily involve;
- Cutting, shaping, gluing and polishing of natural and zero-silica engineered stone, and some porcelain
- Accurately reading and interpreting plans
- Assisting with the installation of finished benchtops
- Hand tool and operation of larger machines
- General cleanup and maintenance
This role will be based mostly in our East-Bendigo workshop, with some on-site work - we will tailor the apprenticeship to suit individual strengths.
The successful candidate will be punctual and well presented, physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and most importantly keen to learn.
A drivers license and reliable vehicle are a must, and the ability to drive a manual vehicle is a bonus (This job is open to applicants under 18 providing they have reliable transport to and from work and intend on obtaining their license once able).
