The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Audit and Analytics Advisor is responsible for ensuring effective processes are in place to provide reporting and data insights to the HSE team and ElectraNet business through the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSE governance, audit, and reporting frameworks.
Success in this role is characterised by the ability to gather, distil, maintain and present HSE related insights to facilitate data facilitate decisions, targeted support, and strategy development to achieve sustained high levels of performance across the spectrum of HSE functions within ElectraNet and their contract partners and maintain an appropriate audit program to provide first line assurance for HSE procedural, process, administration and system controls.
**About You**:
You will have a suitable Tertiary qualification in HSE or a relevant discipline as well as qualifications in auditing and ICAM Basic Investigator (desirable).
In addition, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar technical role, preferably in a high-risk business environment incorporating both office and field-based operations.
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation, principles, standards and practices.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills including report writing skills coupled with well-developed analytical, auditing, investigation and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate information into simple concepts/meanings for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Influencing skills with the ability to make well-considered business decisions balancing risk
- Advanced Excel, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
