The Role: An exciting newly created position has arisen in our design team to support our Product Developers/Fashion Designers as a Production Assistant. In this role, you will act in a critical support role, liaising with our suppliers and having responsibility for ensuring our beautiful product moves efficiently through our critical path to the end customer. Working cross functionally across departments - you will be the go to for all things suppliers, samples and assisting the team more widely with a range of tasks where no 2 days will ever be the same Sound interesting? Day to day, you will: - Build relationships with suppliers and manage supplier monthly meetings - Track/manage sample development deliveries to ensure that everything is on-time according to Critical Path using WFX/Excel Pivot Table - Negotiating cost prices to ensure we achieve budget margin % using fit notes & record in WFX, referring to supplier history - Update and ensure details of each style attributions are correct in WFX - Ensure WFX (PLM) is kept up to date and tidy by GTs/PD/Design - Help set RRPs alongside Product Developers/Design Manager to ensure a balanced pricing architecture across the categories - Prepare samples and cost prices for fits/buy meetings - Prepare the Line List from WFX (our system) for each buy - Track factory allocation for each style/collection to ensure we have a balance Who are you? - Good excel/google sheets skills - Passion for fashion You may have a fashion qualification - though this is preferred, it isn't essential - Prior experience working in an office environment - Exceptional organisational skills - Ability to work as part of a team with a "can-do" attitude and positive disposition - Ability to work in a fast paced environment What's in it for you? - 50% staff discount, monthly staff sample sales, dog-friendly office, plus discounts at places such as Peaches Pilates studios and the cinema - Showpo paid 24/7 GP access through our Updoc employee healthcare benefit (Including prescriptions and referrals sent straight to your phone) - Enjoy financial advice and discounts through our Commbank Workplace Banking Program - We encourage our team to make time for fun - from Games Night and Parties to Friday bubbles and our “I S**t Rainbow” recognition awards - Your growth matters - you’ll get a tailored development plan and opportunities to make real impact - Plus: brekkie bar, EAP mental health support, Showpo Coffee Club, Showpo Wellness Club - Paid parental leave - What matters to us - we support The Hunger Project through our donations, staff sample sales, yearly edits and awareness. - We were recently the first ever business in Australia to gain our "Endometriosis friendly" workplace accreditation through Endometriosis Australia Are you our new Production Assistant?
