Product Specialist – WesTrac
WesTrac is on the lookout for an experienced and driven Product Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with one of the industry’s leading equipment solutions providers.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of product strategy and market introduction, ensuring new products are well-positioned for success. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to assess product suitability, set pricing, and lead promotional initiatives that drive growth and customer engagement.
This full‑time, permanent position offers career stability and development, with exposure to multiple areas of the business—from strategy implementation and technical training to sales enablement and stakeholder management.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Location: Ideally based in Tomago or Casula.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives and provide strategic support to the sales team
- Develop and execute sales strategies using the 4Ps of marketing to position new products effectively
- Design and deliver technical training programs to enhance sales team capability
- Manage machine configuration and inventory strategy to meet market demand
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Caterpillar stakeholders
- Monitor market share, sales performance, and product data (PIN results), reporting insights to management
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related technical discipline
- Strong product management expertise and commercial acumen
- Solid understanding of the construction industry or ability to adapt quickly
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- High‑level analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within cross‑functional teams
