Security Officer - Brookside Shopping Centre

Trident Services Australia is seeking an experienced and licensed Full-Time Security Officer to join our dedicated team at Brookside Shopping Centre. This position offers a stable rotating roster within a busy retail environment, where you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, customer-focused, and welcoming atmosphere.

Roster Details:

- 12‑hour rotating roster over a 4‑week cycle:

- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun — 17:30‑05:30 (Nights)

- Week 2: Wed, Thu — 17:30‑05:30 (Nights)

- Week 3: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun — 05:30‑17:30 (Days)

- Week 4: Wed, Thu — 05:30‑17:30 (Days)

This roster provides a consistent pattern of 5 shifts one week and 2 shifts the next, rotating between day and night blocks.

What you’ll be doing:

- Delivering professional and friendly front‑line customer service

- Responding to incidents including medical, emergency, and security events

- Monitoring safety risks and reporting hazards or suspicious behaviour

- Supporting centre operations through crowd control and de‑escalation

- Assisting with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols

What you’ll need:

- Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control function

- Valid First Aid & CPR certificates

- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach

- Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (days and nights)

- High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
