Role Overview
As a C++ Software Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing high-performance, low-latency software that powers our client’s cutting-edge trading platform. Your expertise will help optimize performance and efficiency across the firm, delivering impactful custom solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and Enhance: Maintain and support one of the world’s most powerful trading platforms, continuously improving its performance, functionality, and stability.
- Create Solutions: Design, develop, test, and deploy elegant software solutions tailored to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with Leaders: Partner with business leaders to define priorities and deliver customized solutions that drive success.
- Analyze Challenges: Tackle complex business and technical problems, using your analytical skills to find effective solutions.
- Provide Support: Ensure timely systems support for trading activities, keeping operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- C++ High-Performance Experience: Proven experience in high-performance, low-latency C++ development, regardless of industry. You know how to write efficient code that meets demanding performance standards.
- Tech Passion: A deep love for technology and software development that drives you to excel.
- Problem Solver: Ambition to solve open-ended problems using your analytical mindset.
- Multi-threading Knowledge: Strong understanding of multi-threaded application design and development.
- Distributed Systems Experience: Professional experience working with distributed systems is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that shine in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Trading Insight: Experience with Finance or proprietary trading is a bonus, but not required.
