About the Role

As HR Adviser, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services across the ABC’s Enabling (Corporate) Divisions. Working within a supportive and experienced People & Culture team, you’ll provide second-level HR advice and support to employees and managers, following initial contact via the general People & Culture Helpdesk or through direct relationships you build within the business.

You’ll triage and manage a range of HR matters, escalating complex issues to Senior HR Advisers as needed. Your work will span employee relations, performance management, recruitment, learning and development, and organisational change. You’ll also contribute to HR projects and initiatives that shape the future of our workforce and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in an HR Shared Services or operational HR role who’s ready to take the next step and expand into a broader advisory or business partnering capacity.

You’re proactive, curious, and have a genuine interest in people and a passion for providing excellent HR support. You thrive in a team environment, value collaboration, and bring positive energy that makes you great to work with.

About You

You’ll bring:

- Experience in HR, ideally in a shared services or advisory capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A flexible and solutions-focused approach, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HR systems, data management, or analysis (highly regarded).
- A commitment to professionalism and the ABC’s Values – Aim High, Think Differently, Take Ownership, Deliver Together.

What We Offer

- A supportive team where you’ll be mentored and coached.
- Opportunities to collaborate on projects of strategic importance.
- A workplace that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
