The role

We currently have one permanent, full-time opportunity available for a Content Specialist to join our Interactive Engagement and Communications team at GESB.

As our Content Specialist, you will create clear and engaging content across a range of channels to support the strategic goals of our organisation and enhance the overall member experience. You’ll have the ability to present complex information in a simple, easy-to-understand format that helps educate, inform and engage our members, employers and advisers.

Your content will align with our brand, tone of voice, accessibility principles and relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and you’ll work closely with teams across the business to support timely and accurate content delivery.

As our Content Specialist, you will bring:

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in writing and editing content across various formats and channels (e.g. web, email, print), with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and audience engagement

- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

- Expertise in applying tone of voice, plain language principles, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards to written materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with both regulatory and internal requirements

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across an organisation
