Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023) This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026 Darlington Primary School (PS) has a long tradition of providing a quality education to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are ideally seeking a teacher who would foster student engagement and will work to maximise student achievement in the Italian language, applying contemporary understandings of best practice around second language acquisition. You should work collaboratively in a small team environment, with all members of the school and, with a wider community to provide quality educational experiences through promoting the school’s vision and strategic directions. An excellent knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum and a capacity to deliver content in an engaging manner is desirable. The successful applicant will ideally be able to display how they provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve to their highest potential. In addition, the ability to engage students using a range of skills, knowledge of effective classroom management strategies and restorative practices will be considered favourably.
