About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our People and Culture team within our Practice Support Group division, which is the hub of the firm, assisting all other divisions to ensure they function at optimal performance. Reporting to our Head of People, you will be an integral member of our passionate, supportive and exuberant team, working collaboratively to provide advice and support to two of our divisions.
As our People and Culture Senior Advisors, you will cultivate a successful partnering relationship with designated client groups. You will have the opportunity to provide strategic, operational, and hands‑on People and Culture guidance, while also contributing to a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with divisional leaders and partners
- Offer guidance and support to address people issues in line with best practices and employment laws
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including upholding firm values and encouraging high performance
- Manage probation performance and annual review cycles end-to-end
- Oversee performance management and termination processes and provide guidance to managers
- Facilitate talent mapping and leverage this data to drive skills gap analysis, workforce planning and development opportunities.
- Manage engagement surveys and drive feedback and performance initiatives
- Facilitate exit interviews and analyse trends on departures
- Support with the implementation of a new HRIS
- Represent People and Culture at internal events and on selected committees
- Draft and review employment contracts and general correspondence
- Oversee divisional reports and leverage these to provide data and insights that inform the business’s people strategy
- Provide HR insights through data analysis
- Ensure firm wide adherence to policies and procedures inline with National Employment Standards
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related degree
- Previous experience working in an operational and strategic People and Culture capacity
- Professional Services experience preferred
