The Opportunity
As the Assistant Finance Officer at the City ofPerth, you will support the effective management of theCity’s financial operations. This position offers anexcellent opportunity to apply your attention to detail andfinancial acumen within a professional, collaborative teamcommitted to excellence and service.
Reporting to the Revenue Service Lead withinour Finance team, your responsibilities would primarilyinclude:
- Process and reconcile daily receipts, manage petty cash,and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support funds management, audits, and compliance with Citypolicies.
- Assist with accounts receivable, debt collection, and ratesenquiries.
- Deliver professional customer service aligned with theCity’s values.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Strong accounting and reconciliation skills with solidnumerical ability.
- Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative team player.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management to meetdeadlines.
