Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and approachable individual to take on the role of Office Administrator & Receptionist at our Eagle Street head office.
This is an entry-level role and offers a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in a corporate office environment and gain valuable experience in customer service and administration. As Office Administrator & Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all staff, guests, and contractors, as well as responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, managing the reception area, and assisting with administrative tasks.
This important role requires someone who can take initiative, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about making a positive impact. This is a busy role that offers a wide scope of accountability and requires you to work with a variety of personalities and senior management.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the day-to-day aesthetic and smooth running of the office and public areas.
- Be the first point of contact / liaison for all office contractors and maintenance staff in regards to maintenance requests and general office needs.
- Assist with a broad range of a administration tasks, including but not limited to booking travel and accommodation, arranging couriers, organizing staff initiatives & events, supporting the delivery of group-wide projects, reporting, supporting functions and other Ad Hoc duties as required.
- Managing our QLD Reception, this includes managing all inbound calls and reception emails, as well as assisting visitors to the office.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an outgoing, highly organised, and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for helping others to create exceptional experiences. You'll be known for your positive, professional, can-do attitude as well as your commitment to doing what's right and getting the job done properly. This role would be ideal for someone with a strong customer service background. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize tasks are also essential.
