About the role
At Vocus, we are embarking on one of the most exciting periods in our organization’s history After the acquisition of TPG’s Enterprise, Government, and Wholesale fixed business and network assets, we are entering a dynamic period of growth and opportunity.
We are looking for a Network Planner for a 12-month contract to aid in this integration, synergy realization and forecasting obligations and other activities.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day
- Planning providing models, process and input for 0–12-month management by Network Operations.
- Long range capacity planning.
- Budgetary forecasts for major projects and network capacity for both capital and operational expenditure.
- Network Expansion by way of business cases to extend the network footprint outside of normal sales cycle business as usual activity.
- Lifecycle Management and planning of Network Elements, Leases, IRUs and other long-term contracts
- Ensure Network Planning activity drives towards a future simplified and consolidated infrastructure.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Experience in a Network or Infrastructure role in Telecommunications.
- Broad understanding of what is involved in Network Planning within a telecommunications environment.
- Broad understanding of Telecommunications infrastructure.
- Commercial experience in a network planning or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience working with business segments to deliver solutions.
- Well-developed relationship building skills.
- Team Player.
