Senior Software Developer | Dynamics

Location: Brisbane CBD | Hybrid

We’re partnering with a major Queensland Government department to source an experienced Dynamics Developer for a key program of digital transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful public sector projects that directly contribute to the delivery of improved community services across Queensland.

About the Role

As a Dynamics Developer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform-based solutions within a large, complex government environment. You’ll collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Testers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure the development and deployment of high-quality, reliable applications. You’ll join a motivated, collaborative team that values open communication, innovation and shared success. This program offers genuine flexibility, strong stakeholder engagement, and the opportunity to work on a high-visibility project shaping the future of digital services.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and extend enterprise applications based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

- Design and maintain solutions within Azure environments.

- Build and manage source code, ensuring adherence to coding and security standards.

- Translate functional and user requirements into technical specifications.

- Produce and maintain technical documentation and solution design artifacts.

- Identify opportunities to improve systems and reduce technical debt.

- Provide guidance, mentoring and technical leadership within the development team.

About You

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years’ experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions.

- Strong C# plugin development experience.

- Skilled in JavaScript and Dynamics form customisation.

- Experience building workflows with Power Automate.

- Experience working in DevOps environments.

Highly Regarded:

- Background in .NET stack development (5+ years).

- Understanding of government or justice sector environments.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

- Familiarity with Web APIs, modern design patterns, and Azure services.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
