- Love being organised and keeping things running smoothly
- Enjoy helping people and solving everyday problems
- Know your way around systems like MS Office or CRM platforms
- Thrive in a team environment and aren’t afraid to take initiative
- Bring a positive attitude to work (even on Mondays)
A typical day could include:
- Answering enquiries from the public by phone, email or over the counter
- Supporting internal teams with admin tasks like data entry, scheduling, or document prep
- Helping residents with council processes like rates, permits, or bookings
- Logging and updating records with accuracy
- Keeping calm and helpful when things get busy
Locations: Roles vary across councils in South East Queensland – from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Redlands, and beyond.
Flexible durations: We work with both short-term contracts and longer-term opportunities – perfect for building local government experience or finding the right long-term fit.
