About the Role

Join the Public Transport Authority (PTA) as a Change Manager and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the SmartRider Upgrade Project. This dynamic position is responsible for leading and implementing effective change management strategies across the Branch, supporting project directors, managers, and stakeholders through tailored initiatives, training, and communication. You'll drive business improvement by designing processes and change objectives that align with PTA’s strategic goals, ensuring smooth transitions and positive project outcomes.

In this role, you'll contribute to the operational performance of the Branch and the broader success of the SmartRider Upgrade Project. Your responsibilities will span financial and risk management, performance reporting, and continuous improvement. You'll provide expert advice on change impact assessments, oversee change programs, and develop frameworks, policies, and training plans that foster a culture of safety and innovation. By building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, you'll help shape a future‑ready PTA that delivers exceptional public transport services.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Proven knowledge and hands‑on experience in designing and delivering change management strategies, with a strong track record across large organisations and complex engineering or technology‑based projects.

- Skilled in training and mentoring others in change management principles and techniques, fostering organisational readiness and resilience through structured learning and support.

- Demonstrates well‑developed leadership abilities, with the capacity to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and drive successful outcomes through clear direction and strategic oversight.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide effective change management advice. Brings innovative thinking and sound analytical skills to solve complex business challenges.

- Skilled in managing competing priorities with strong planning and time management abilities. Competent in MS Office and committed to safety, personal growth, and developing others.
