We are seeking a motivated,experiencedDental Assistant and Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice on a part time basis. We are an easy going, friendly, dynamicteam with four dentists located in Camberwell Junction in beautifully appointed surrounds – very close to all public transport (trains, trams and buses).

- Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using dental software
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and handle emails
- Verify insurance, process claims, and manage billing/invoicing
- Handle patient records and maintain confidentiality
- Collect payments and reconcile end-of-day accounts

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain stock and order supplies as needed
- Ensure clinical areas meet health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience

- Excellent communication skills in person and over the telephone
- A natural ability and desire to be helpful and supportive of co-workers
- High level of intuition and motivation – a “can do” attitude
- Previous D4W and Tyro experience is advantageous
- Professional friendly, manner and neat appearance

Remuneration is negotiable and based on experience.
