Part Time Front Office Receptionist

The Role
Offering best-in-class customer service, you will be the first point of contact for all Essence guests and visitors. You will make accurate and timely reservations, respond to enquiries via phone and email in a proficient manor, and endeavour to achieve a positive guest experience for all. Using upselling techniques, you will promote our properties and the Essence brand to maximize room occupancy and promote available hotel services and facilities. Employing your knowledge of local areas, you will offer insights and make recommendations to our guests during their visit.

Your engaging and bubbly personality, along with your exceptional communication skills, will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience from check-in through check-out. You will be comfortable working in a changing environment and able to remain calm, efficient, and organized during peak periods.
You will have the following:
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- National Police Check (completed within the last 3 months)
- Solid admin and computer skills are essential for this role.
- Previous hotel or conference experience preferred; knowledge of RMS is advantageous.
- Availability to work 30 hours per week on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday.
- Flexibility to work across both Chermside and Taringa.
