We're Hiring: Casual Receptionist at 3rd Space

Are you passionate about community support and creating a welcoming environment for all?

3rd Space is seeking a Casual Receptionist to be the friendly face at our front desk, supporting individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Location: 505 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley

Hours: 2 to 4 days per week (including Saturdays)

Employment Type: Casual

About the Role

As the first point of contact for visitors, you'll play a vital role in:

  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment
  • Assisting individuals in accessing services
  • Managing calls, emails, and administrative tasks
  • Upholding safety, confidentiality, and compliance standards

What You'll Bring

  • Customer-facing experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in crisis situations
  • Non-judgmental, empathetic, and culturally aware approach
  • Multitasking and organisational skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Hold a current Working with Children (Blue Card) Check, or be willing to obtain
  • National Police History Check
