Inventory Planner
The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. Fast forward 27 years we’re an energetic team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.
Our cafes have earned global recognition, but it’s the entire supply chain - our production, logistics, roasting and sales teams - that makes it all possible. We take pride in every step of the process, ensuring that our coffee is not only world-class but that our customers receive it consistently, on time, and at the highest quality.
About the role
We’re looking for our next Inventory Planner to support our Inventory Planning Manager in maintaining seamless stock control. This role is ideal for a student studying Supply Chain Management, someone with logistics or warehousing experience, or an Inventory Planner looking for a new opportunity. This position offers the chance to develop valuable skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Inventory Planning Manager, you will:
- Manage stock levels across key inventory categories, including coffee, tea, packaging, and accessories.
- Monitor shipments and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Forecast demand to prevent shortages and maintain consistent supply.
- Cross-check invoices and freight details, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supplier agreements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Excel proficiency (including ability to populate pivot tables and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to cross-check data accurately.
- Good communication skills - working effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- A customer-first mindset - understanding that every supply decision impacts the end product.
- A proactive approach, with problem-solving skills and a focus on efficiency.
Why Join Toby’s Estate?
- Opportunity to develop supply chain expertise in a highly regarded specialty coffee business.
- Work within a collaborative and passionate team committed to delivering excellence.
- Fixed term opportunity - 12 months maternity leave cover
If you’re looking for a role that offers flexibility, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to grow in the supply chain space, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now and be part of the Toby’s Estate team.
