Modibodi is a leader in innovative, protective, and sustainable apparel, dedicated to improving lives globally. Our mission is to create better lives for men and women through groundbreaking, supportive designs while building a business that drives positive social impact for both humanity and the environment.
In this newly created role, we’re looking for a highly numerical, logical, and detail-oriented Planner to join our Planning team in Rozelle, Sydney, and help drive growth through smart inventory management and channel planning.
About the Role:
As a Planner at Modibodi, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and profitability goals across third-party platforms. Your work will directly influence inventory health, cash flow, and product performance, making you a key contributor to our commercial success. Reporting to the Head of Planning, you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure our products are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price.
You’ll step into a brand-new role in a fast-growing business, where full onboarding and ongoing support set you up to succeed from day one. This is your chance to make your mark, own your role, bring fresh ideas, and shape the way we work as we expand into new and growing categories. With the freedom to drive results your way, automation on the horizon, and a team that celebrates every win together, there’s never been a better time to join us.
What You Will Do:
Develop and manage seasonal sales and margin plans for third-party accounts.
Align product strategies with partner goals, including assortment and regional trends.
Monitor sell-through rates and recommend replenishment or reallocation strategies.
Collaborate with supply chain to prevent delays and optimize inventory levels.
Track and analyze sales performance, platform trends, and consumer behavior.
Present actionable insights to internal teams to inform future planning.
Partner with marketing and sales to plan product launches and promotional campaigns.
Influence digital merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
Recommend markdowns or exclusive drops to drive traffic and conversion.
Who You Are:
5+ years’ experience with a proven track record in wholesale or merchandise planning, ideally within fashion.
You’re confident with margin planning, sell-through analysis, and inventory forecasting.
You have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
You’re proactive, commercially savvy, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
You manage time well and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
Experience in global or regional planning, exposure to account meetings or market appointments with wholesale partners, and familiarity with markdown optimization and promotional planning will be highly regarded. A degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or Economics is also preferred.
