Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Storeperson to join our stores department. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in warehouse or delivery work, who thrives in a hands-on team focused environment.

About the role

- Review purchase orders and deliver to the departments as required.
- Maintainappropriate levels of stock required on the island between barge deliveries.
- Assist with unloading deliveries (6am start on barge days).
- Ensure accurate inventory rotation records and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately process invoices and assist with monthly stocktakes.
- Keep the Stores area clean, safe and well organised.
- Operate forklift in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and safety regulations.
- Report operation issues and needs to the Purchasing Manager.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

- Operational knowledge of hospitality (hotels, resorts, restaurants) will be an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous forklift, warehouse and delivery experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including weekend work or public holidays during peak season
- Forklift license highly regarded.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
