Nestled in the heart of the South Brisbane health precinct, our Clarence Street Long Day Care offers a dynamic and inspiring environment for educators and families alike. The service combines inner-city convenience with architecturally designed indoor-outdoor spaces, including open-air play areas and garden settings. Purpose-built rooms support age-appropriate learning, play, and development in a bright, welcoming environment.

Service: Clarence Street Long Day Care
Long Day Care Time: 6.30am – 6.00pm
Kindergarten Time: 8.30am - 2.45pm
Qualification Required: ACECQA approved Diploma in Children Services qualification or equivalent
Hourly Rate: $35.28 - $36.35 (based on the qualification and experience) + superannuation and Allowance/Benefits

- 14 dynamic rooms to spark curiosity

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement a high-quality, inclusive educational program that fosters learning and development.
- Support children's growth by creating a happy, safe, and nurturing environment where they can learn and have fun.
- Engage actively in professional and personal development opportunities.
- Promote the service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare’s values and educational philosophy.

Qualifications

- Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
- Childcare First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
- Effective workplace communication skills
