About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organisation in the construction industry, recognised for its professional approach and commitment to operational excellence. This temporary role is part of a Human Resources team focused on delivering high-quality outcomes during a period of rapid growth.

Job Description

With full responsibility for Industrial and Employee Relations, the key focus of this role is to:

- Manage industrial relations matters in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Provide expert advice on industrial awards, agreements, and workplace policies.
- Facilitate negotiations and consultations with unions and employee representatives.
- Conduct investigations and resolve workplace disputes effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise industrial relations risks.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with the broader Human Resources team to support organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations legislation and best practices.
- Experience managing workplace disputes and negotiations effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate reports.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating industrial relations risks.
