Join our wonderful team at St Francis Xavier OSHC in Runaway Bay Be part of a dedicated and experienced group of educators who foster growth in a safe, positive, and supportive work environment. At St Francis Xavier Outside School Hours Care, we offer before school care, after school care, and vacation care for up to 120 children. We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic educators who are committed to supporting primary school-aged children’s development, ensuring they learn, have fun, and feel safe every day.

Position: Casual Educator (varied hours)

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

Responsibilities

- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
