Electrify your future.**About the role****AGL’s Hydro team** has a newly created opportunity for an **Operations Coordinator**.**Based in Mt. Beauty** in the North-East of Victoria, you will be ensuring the planning, coordination and execution operations, outages and permit to work systems that support the site and remote operations teams.Mt Beauty has outstanding access to the region, surrounded by Alpine National Park, offering a lifestyle that offers balance and appeal for both individuals and families.**What you’ll be doing:*** Managing the safe and efficient delivery of Operation Coordination across the Hydro Business Unit* Managing AGL Hydro’s centralised Permit to Work (PTW) scheme* Managing outage and change requests* Supporting the managing and improvement of assets in accordance with AGL’s HSE Management System* Performing remote monitoring of plan in relation to plant access requirements* Coordinating and direct sequenced switching activities with external agencies**What you’ll bring:*** Technical qualifications, or relevant experience in heavy industry or power generation* Experience with High Voltage switching operations* Understanding of water management and interaction with plant access requirements* Experience in Energy Sector, with a focus on the operation of hydro or gas power stations and associated electrical, mechanical and hydraulic infrastructure* Exposure to CMMS and electronic Permit to Work programs* Collaborative approach to working across business units and functions* Effective communication skills, with an ability to implement both long and short-term work programs.* Understanding of relevant HSE legislation.**Applications close 2 October****Inclusion at AGL**At AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
