3 Days Left: Product Manager
Location: Cambridge, UK – (Remote available within the UK with team onsite days in the Cambridge office approx. 4 times per year)
This role is a Fixed Term Contract anticipated to end during 2027.
Are you a data-informed, player-focused Product Manager excited to shape the newest game in the RuneScape franchise?
As Product Manager on RuneScape: Dragonwilds, our new open-world survival crafting game currently in early access and being developed in Unreal Engine 5, you’ll help drive the strategic execution of one of our most ambitious projects to date.
Working cloesly with the Product Director, Lead Analyst, and cross-functional game teams, you’ll use player insight, competitive analysis, and gameplay feedback to influence features, roadmap priorities, and development goals. This is a central role focused on championing the player experience, synthesising information into actionable guidance, and supporting the live and future health of the game.
If you’re passionate about systemic gameplay, survival genres, and building products that resonate deeply with communities, this is your chance to make a huge impact both internally and for the players.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with the Product Director to execute product initiatives aligned with player needs, business goals, and product KPIs.
- Own the competitive landscape, providing timely teardowns and market awareness that directly inform product and feature decisions.
- Analyse player behaviour in collaboration with data analysts to identify pain points and opportunities for iteration or improvement.
- Own user research and community feedback cycles to represent player desires and ensure those insights influence development.
- Synthesise multiple data sources (quantitative, qualitative, and market) into clear, actionable product recommendations for game teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, design, marketing, and community teams to ensure cohesive execution of product vision.
- Support backlog shaping with problem statements rooted in evidence and player goals.
- Regularly contribute to and help deliver product reports, informing directors and senior leadership of key trends and updates.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, ideally within games.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills across departments and disciplines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a proven track record of converting insights into decisions.
- A deep understanding of the Survival / Open World Survival Craft genre and player behaviours, either as a professional or dedicated player.
- Fluent using MS Excel.
- Proven experience working from pre-production through to live development.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to balance data, community feedback, and vision to guide priorities.
- A genuine passion for RuneScape and familiarity with both RuneScape Games and their players.
What we offer:
When you join Jagex you can look forward to a generous Perks & Benefits package including:
- Private Healthcare, including Dental Plan.
- Minimum 6% Pension contributions.
- Employee Assistance Programme & onsite Counselling.
- Life Insurance.
- Discretionary annual performance bonus.
- Enhanced family leave policies from day 1.

- 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays & the option to buy/sell holidays + so much more
