We are seeking a dynamic and driven Site Manager to lead our Icon Cancer in Ipswich on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is perfect for a leader with strong business acumen who is passionate about delivering high-quality cancer care while driving operational excellence.
The Opportunity
As the Site Manager, you will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. You will oversee the daily operations, resource management, and quality assurance processes to maintain a patient-centred approach. Additionally, you will contribute to business strategy by driving initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation’s vision and values.
Reporting to the State Manager, this role involves leadership across operational, financial, and human resource management, ensuring the site consistently meets its performance objectives. You will also collaborate with the Business Development Manager to implement strategic plans that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, ensuring patient experience remains at the forefront.
- Manage resources efficiently to optimise workflow, quality, and productivity.
- Build and nurture a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration and patient‑centric care.
- Develop and implement plans for service innovation and operational improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external doctors.
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to ensure successful execution of the site's operational plan.

Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare service delivery within both public and private sectors.
- Proven experience in a management role within healthcare, demonstrating a collaborative and consultative leadership style.
- Ability to lead effectively while balancing patient care with varying stakeholder demands.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business planning skills, particularly in a KPI‑driven environment.
- A commitment to fostering team development through learning and assessment programmes.
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Management or business qualification (undergraduate or postgraduate) is highly desirable.
- A relevant health qualification.
