About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Technical Officer Grade 3to be part of our Technology & Communication Services Command. The Senior Technical Officer provides design and development assistance to support product development and operational activities within the NSWPF. Target Question 1: Describe a time when you were responsible for maintaining or troubleshooting complex technical systems or equipment. What steps did you take to identify and resolve the issue, and what was the outcome?
Target Question 2: Can you describe a situation where you were responsible for configuring or maintaining IP-based network infrastructure – including routers, switches, and backhaul links – in a mission‑critical environment? What challenges did you face, and how did you ensure network reliability and security?

Eligibility

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.

Total Remuneration Package: $131,319 pa. Package includes salary $115,853, plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
