About the Role
As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimising modern network environments. You’ll work with Cisco ACI, F5, automation, and Azure Cloud technologies across a large-scale transformation programme that will uplift national network capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing scalable, secure network architectures
- Leading deployment and configuration of Cisco ACI and F5 infrastructure
- Collaborating with cybersecurity and cloud teams to strengthen protection and performance
- Developing and maintaining detailed network documentation
- Automating workflows and configurations using scripting or IaC tools (Python, Terraform, Ansible, Git)
- Providing expert technical support, mentoring, and continuous improvement
About You
You’re an experienced Senior Network Engineer who enjoys hands‑on project delivery and shaping enterprise‑grade network environments. You thrive on collaboration and innovation.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience with Cisco ACI and enterprise networking
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
- Strong firewall experience (Cisco ASA, FTD, FMC, CSM)
- Knowledge of F5 LTM/GTM load balancing
- Scripting or automation experience (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCNA
- Strong documentation and communication skills
