We are seeking an on-site Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager to support the day-to-day activities of the finance team between QT Perth and Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges. This role offers the opportunity to understand the hotel business from both a full finance and operational perspective and to progress toward a Finance & Business Support Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide financial and commercial support to hotel GMs and department heads
- Advise on business activities, break-even analysis, and profitability
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
- Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, and working capital
- Develop and coach finance and business support staff
- Attend owner and departmental meetings, offering strategic insights
- Implement purchasing, credit, and payroll procedures
- Promote cost control and operational efficiency across properties

Skills & Experience

- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Knowledge of hotel finance systems and internal controls
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management skills
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Familiarity with payroll, tax, and compliance regulations
- Hospitality industry experience preferred
