We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a successful WA owned and operated construction company. This role supports the Finance Manager with a range of accounts duties including BAS and Payroll. This is a great opportunity for an someone with accounts or bookkeeping experience to secure a part time role - school hours are an option

**Responsibilities**
- Processing, preparing and reconciling invoices and purchase orders - liaising with suppliers for information/ clarification as required
- Payroll - monthly and fortnightly runs
- Receipting
- Preparing general account and bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Preparing reports as required
- Data entry and importing data into the finance systems
- Providing additional administration duties as required, including covering for other finance team members leave

**About you**
- 2 years + experience in a similar role
- Qualification in Bookkeeping/ Accounting
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Payroll experience
- Sound knowledge of MS Office products including intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills
- Cheops experience preferred not essential
- Experience with the accounts payable function including account reconciliations
- Experience generating and issuing supplier invoices
- Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Efficient, organised and able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Strong initiative and work ethic; ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team \
