This role sits in the Allied Health Education team that supports allied health services across the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital group. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including rehabilitation, cancer care, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and specialist units. Fremantle Hospital provides high-quality aged care, mental health services, rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services. Cockburn Health is a stand-alone 75-bed inpatient facility. SMHS delivers health services across a catchment area of more than 3300 square kilometres in the southern half of Perth. Our vision is Excellent health care, every time.

We are currently seeking an Allied Health Trainer to join our team. The successful applicant will work under the direction of an Allied Health Educator to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate contemporary, evidence-based inter-professional education and training programs aligned to the strategic and operational needs of the Allied Health (AH) Workforce and the Allied Health Assistant Service.

Responsibilities

- Develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate inter-professional education and training programs for allied health services.
- Collaborate with the Allied Health Educator to align programs with strategic and operational needs.
- Support contemporary, evidence-based teaching across the AH workforce.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in health professional education or training (inter-professional preferred).
- Ability to coordinate and evaluate education programs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
