Role context: You would join a rapidly growing team of over 150 people and report to the COO. The role focuses on enabling a data-driven culture and building scalable analytics across the operations organization to improve the meter-to-cash lifecycle and customer experience.

About the Role

Reporting to the COO, we are looking for a Data Analyst who will define, measure, operationalize and democratize data, metrics and insights to drive decision making across operations and scale the business. You will work with the COO, senior operations leadership and the data engineering team to build reporting and insights that optimise the meter-to-cash lifecycle and deliver the best end-to-end customer experience.

You will:

- Design and automate reporting using modern BI tools (Tableau) at scale to support operational decisions and strategies
- Develop methodologies and frameworks to assess and measure pain points in the customer support experience
- Drive analysis and create insights to optimise the meter-to-cash lifecycle
- Build and automate a set of reports that meet regulatory obligations
- Contribute as a key member of the analytics and BI guild to drive best practices in tools, pipelines, infrastructure and processes
- Operationalise key data-heavy components of the customer experience and meter-to-cash lifecycle through queries and automation

Key Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Data Science role, with a focus on building dashboards and/or analysing data to drive insights
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Sciences, Engineering)
- Strong SQL skills; knowledge of other development languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
- Experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles ambiguity and focuses on impact
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with good judgment and communication

$130,000 - $150,000 a year. Salary is quoted excluding superannuation. All roles include employee stock options on top of base salary and superannuation.

Full-time role based ideally in Melbourne, Australia, with openness to considering the right candidate anywhere within Australia. Office in Melbourne CBD with flexible office/remote work; occasional co-working for Sydney-based staff.
