This roster is 7/7 roster (7days, 7 off, 7 nights) and a 12 hour day. Thursday to Wednesday swing.

About the Role

This role is essential to the successful operation of the Processing Plant, encompassing crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and control room management. As part of the processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the plant runs safely, effectively, and efficiently to meet production requirements. Your ability to manage operations while maintaining safety and environmental standards will be crucial in optimizing performance and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a smooth and uninterrupted production process by monitoring and optimizing processing parameters to ensure consistency, prevent disruptions, and maximize efficiency.

- Uphold company policies and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance, integrity, and sustainability in operations.

- Communicate effectively with peers, supervisory personnel, and stakeholders, providing timely feedback to support informed decision-making.

- Document key processes, maintain log sheets, and provide thorough handovers to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and minimize operational risks.

- Perform plant and equipment isolations up to Isolator Level 3, ensuring safe machinery handling while responding effectively to process deviations and equipment failures.

- Support maintenance teams during plant breakdowns, helping to maintain high operational standards and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the Mill to contribute to operational efficiency and safety, reinforcing a culture of accountability and care.

- Play an active role in developing operating procedures, inspections, and audits, while assisting in training personnel to enhance safety awareness and operational knowledge.

- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Evolution Mining’s values, ensuring collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement are upheld.

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by refining workflows, addressing challenges, and enhancing best practices to drive efficiency and cost reduction.

About you

Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Processing Plant. The successful candidate will ensure that production targets are met while adhering to operational standards, safety regulations, and environmental protocols. Strong technical expertise, decision-making skills, and an ability to work independently will be essential for success in this position.

To be successful in the role you will require:

Qualifications and Certificates:

- Certificate III in Metalliferous Mining / Resource Processing is advantageous.

- Previous experience in gold processing plants is advantageous.

- High work standards and attention to detail.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Expertise in applying technical knowledge and technology.

- Strong planning and organizational skills.

Skills:

- Ability to maintain a strong safety focus at all times.

- Competent user of MS Word and Excel.

- Experience working with DCS systems.

- Ability to work remotely and independently.

- Strong ability to prioritize and schedule tasks efficiently.
