Roster

This roster is 7:7 roster (7days, 7 off, 7 nights) and a 12 hour day. Thursday to Wednesday swing.

About the Role

This entry-level role offers an exciting pathway into mining. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be trained to safely and efficiently operate haul trucks within open pit mining operations. You’ll start by building skills under supervision, contributing to production targets, and learning the fundamentals of safety and environmental compliance. This is a chance to launch your mining career in a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

- Learning to safely operate haul trucks within open pit operations.
- Following procedures, attending pre-start meetings, and reporting hazards.
- Supporting environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate shift logs and communication with supervisors.
- Actively engaging in training and development opportunities.

About You

You are motivated, reliable, and eager to begin a career in mining. You thrive in a team environment, remain calm under pressure, and are committed to learning new skills.

To be successful, you will have

- A valid Australian motor vehicle licence (manual).
- A strong focus on safety and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work a panelled roster.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
