PTW Architects are growing and looking for a strong all-rounder to work on high profile, large scale, mixed-use projects. Ideally immediate start.

About the role

You will report to the Project Director, capable of working from the SSDA stage through to project completion. You will demonstrate strong design skills and proficiency in Revit and Sketchup, delivering high quality design and documentation packages. You enjoy resolving complex design issues and working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic design direction and project framing in early stages, aligning client goals with regulatory, site, and budgetary constraints.
- Significantly contribute to different project stages including concept design, schematic design, tender documentation and construction documentation
- Coordinate and manage expectations with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and builders
- Lead the internal project team and mentor junior team members
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Oversee project documentation, consultant coordination and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

What you will bring to the team:

- Min 7-10 years local experience
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- High Revit and Sketchup proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of NCC, SEPP65, ADG, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience leading high-quality, complex, multi-residential (Class 2) projects.
- Proven ability to deliver projects through all stages, including construction administration.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with the confidence to lead internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff in their development.
- NSW Architect registration and DBP Practitioner registration are desirable
