Job Overview

We are seeking a Program Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership in designing and delivering enterprise-scale initiatives. The role is focused on integration, data architecture, and complex program delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. You will play a key part in enabling transformation outcomes, including M&A integration activities, through modern architecture approaches.

Responsibilities

- Define and maintain target integration and data architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise ICT strategy
- Architect end-to-end integration solutions, including approaches to interface design, middleware, and cloud adoption
- Develop architecture roadmaps to enable scalable transformation and support M&A integration or divestment activities
- Review and sign off on solution and integration designs, ensuring consistency with standards, security, and performance requirements
- Lead consultation on integration technologies, component selection, and design approaches across large transformation programs
- Oversee delivery to ensure alignment with approved designs and enterprise architecture principles
- Support data architecture initiatives, turning raw application data and analytics into actionable business insights
- Champion cloud integration, event-based architectures, APIs, microservices, and modern mobile-first platforms
- Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver complex, multi-stream transformation programs

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in integration architecture and large-scale program delivery
- Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics, and enterprise information models
- Proven expertise integrating core business systems (e.g. SAP, SQL, HRM, POS/BOS, ERP, workforce systems)
- Experience in M&A integration or separation activities (systems consolidation, divestment, platform rationalisation)
- Knowledge of cloud integration, event-driven design, API frameworks (Swagger, RAML, OpenAPI), and microservices
- Exposure to retail, utilities, financial services, or large enterprise environments (desirable)
- Solid background in IT development, operations, and change management processes (Agile, SAFe, waterfall, rapid deployment)
- Certifications in TOGAF, SAFe, ITIL, or cloud architecture (desirable)
