Family Doctor are seeking motivated, experienced Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists to join our dental practice on a casual/part time basis.

About us:
We are an easy going, friendly, dynamic team with six dentists located in Camberwell Junction in beautifully appointed surrounds – very close to all public transport (trains, trams and buses).

- Dental Assistant – Casual position
- Dental Receptionist – Casual position

Dental Assistant Position
Key Responsibilities:

- Delivery of exceptional Customer Service to our patients
- Front Desk reception and billing support if required to assist
- Cleaning and Sterilisation of Instruments
- Stock Control and ordering supplies

Skills and Experience

- Excellent communication skills in person and over the telephone
- A natural ability and desire to be helpful and supportive of co-workers
- High level of intuition and motivation – a “can do” attitude
- Previous D4W/ D4Web and Tyro Health experience is advantageous
- Professional friendly, manner and neat appearance
- Providing high quality reception and secretarial services to the patients, dentists and staff
- Greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- General office and administrative duties
- Opening and closing the clinic as required

Skills and Experience

- Strong communication and IT skills
- Previous dental receptionist experience is preferred but not essential
- Ability to multitask
- The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience using D4W/ D4Web software (advantageous)
- Critical attention to detail
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
