The City of Bunbury is seeking a dedicated Injury Management and Wellbeing Advisor to join our People & Safety team.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in building a safe and supportive workplace, where wellbeing is a priority.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate proactive wellbeing programs through collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate injury reporting and assessment in line with legislation and policy
- Implement and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored to individual employee needs
- Liaise with medical professionals, managers, and employees to support recovery pathways
- Develop and facilitate effective return-to-work plans
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend proactive strategies to prevent workplace injuries
- Provide ongoing advice, guidance, and support to staff throughout their recovery journey

You/'ll succeed if this sounds like you

- You champion a worker centred approach to injury management and wellbeing
- You have relevant qualifications or significant experience in injury management, occupational health and safety, or return-to-work coordination
- You understand workers/' compensation legislation and rehabilitation frameworks
- You are skilled in building strong, empathetic relationships with employees, medical providers, and managers
- You can manage sensitive and complex situations with discretion and professionalism
- You have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- You're a proactive team player who is passionate about health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace
