About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Test Lead to join our consulting team at Planit, a market leader in Testing and Quality Engineering services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile enterprise programs, providing hands-on leadership and delivering quality outcomes for some of the region’s largest organisations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple phases and streams
- Drive test planning, strategy, and execution to ensure high-quality delivery
- Manage defect triage and reporting using OpenText ALM
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers in Agile and traditional environments
- Mentor and support junior testers, ensuring best practices are followed across the team
- Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and methodologies
Key Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a Test Lead role
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (or equivalent certification)
- Proven experience across CI/CD (DevOps), Agile, Iterative, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong proficiency in OpenText ALM / HP ALM, including test execution and defect management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across large enterprise projects
