Due to recent growth, our Brisbane team is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the team. If you’re passionate about construction and ready to step into a dynamic role where you can grow and make an impact, we’d love to have you on board.

About the Role:

As our new Contract Administrator, you’ll be the go-to person for managing the client’s daily commercial and contractual needs. From tendering and procurement to drafting contractual correspondence and developing claims, you’ll have the chance to get involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle—from initial tendering through to contract close and commercial settlement.

In This Role, you will be part of:

1. Tender Documentation: Prepare, collate, and evaluate tender documents to ensure everything is spot on.
2. Managing Subcontractors: Handle subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules with flair.
3. Claim and Variation Support: Assist with progress claims and external variations to keep everything on track.
4. Negotiation contracts: Review, negotiate, and finalise subcontracts with a keen eye for detail.
5. Expense Reimbursement: Manage and track project expenditures, including subcontractor claims, to ensure budgets are met.
6. Monthly Reporting: Work with the Contracts Manager to submit accurate and timely Monthly Project Reports.
7. Policy Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities align with Renascent's policies and procedures.
8. Creating a trustful culture: Foster a climate of mutual trust in all your activities.
9. Relationship Building: Keep project stakeholders informed with clear and friendly communication, both verbal and written.

The Perfect Candidate Will Have:

1. Relevant Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a related field, along with significant experience in fit-out and refurbishment delivery.
2. CA Experience: 3-5 years as a Contracts Administrator with a proven track record in commercial and contractual risk management.
3. Procurement: Hands-on experience with procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large-scale projects.
4. Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
5. Communication Skills: Clear, articulate communication with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
6. Project Experience: Experience in delivering commercial projects across Regional areas, with knowledge of the local construction market and subcontractors.
7. Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail and proven communication skills.
8. Tech Savvy: Experience with Job Pac and Procore is highly regarded.
