We are working with a Federal Government department to fill the role of TM1 System Administrator.

Contract Details: Initial 12‑month contract with one 12‑month extension option, based in QLD, ACT, VIC or NSW.

Role Overview

A TM1 System Administrator is a critical role within the team, supporting key stakeholders with budgeting and financial planning activities. The candidate will possess a strong background and proven expertise to confidently administer and manage the TM1 system, ensuring day‑to‑day operations, optimal performance, integrity and accuracy of financial data. The role also ensures robust stakeholder engagement, providing ongoing professional expertise, guidance and support to TM1 users. The admin will work proactively, drive efficiency, alignment and consistency, and build trust with the TM1 stakeholder group.

Key Experience

- Demonstrated TM1 system administration, technical experience (3‑5 years) with understanding of TM1 architecture, including cubes, dimensions, rules, use of TM1 Web and other reporting tools

- Strong experience with building and managing budgets (End of Financial Year, Mid‑Year) in TM1, including providing required ongoing administrative support to business areas

- Demonstrated proficiency in accurately finalising end‑of‑month and end‑of‑financial‑year processes within TM1

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, providing first‑line support in troubleshooting TM1 user issues, along with a capability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, resolving data accuracy issues

- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather their requirements and provide updates

Desirable Criteria

- Relevant TM1 certifications such as IBM Certified Developer – Cognos TM1 10.1 or similar credentials and/or training

- Experience in building, maintaining and/or enhancing the Capital and Property modules, in TM1

- Knowledge or experience with integrating TM1 with other systems and databases (e.g. knowledge of TM1 integration with SAP and/or Aurion)
