You'll manage our Australian Stockbroking entity whilst developing cutting-edge financial processes that drive real business impact. Our culture club provides opportunities for everyone whether you’re into fitness, pizza making classes, socialising or bringing out your competitive side in trivia or lawn bowls**What You’ll Be Working On*** Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for our Stockbroking entity.* Produce accurate management accounts on a monthly basis to the agreed timetable* Carry out variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior month with written commentaries* Ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained* Manage month end regulatory reporting for all our Stockbroking entity.* Receive and organise payments of supplier invoices.* Authorise payroll, client and supplier payments on banking platforms.* Maintain and develop appropriate financial control procedures to ensure accurate recording of transactions in the Company’s financial reporting systems* Coordinate and manage year end statutory audit* Prepare end of year statutory accounts for our Stockbroking entity and assist with auditors’ queries and deliverables**What Type Of Person Will Be Successful**You're a qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) with a proven track record. Your communication skills set you apart, you can explain complex financial concepts clearly and build relationships across different departments and seniority levels.Your technical Excel skills are strong, and you're comfortable working with various financial systems such as Oracle HFM.
