Finance Manager - Join Our Growing Team

REMONDIS Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Mascot. This full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations while contributing to Australia/'s leading waste management and recycling company.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you/'ll oversee core financial operations, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, and support strategic initiatives across our business. This position is central to maintaining financial integrity and enabling informed decision-making through robust financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for all entities
- Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee BAS submissions
- Supervise central accounting functions including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in financial workflows
- Support treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Mentor and manage accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture
- Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Collaborate with branch teams and departments to strengthen operational alignment

What You/'ll Bring

- Bachelor/'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA/CPA qualification
- Minimum 6 years finance experience, preferably in waste management or similar industry
- Prior finance manager experience in complex business environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP platforms and financial systems
- Proven ability to mentor teams and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
