The Role:

As an Emergency Services Officer (ESO) you will play a vital role in maintaining health and safety on remote mining sites. You/'ll lead emergency response efforts, provide frontline medical care, and contribute to site preparedness and health promotion.

This role suits adaptable, calm, and clinically competent professionals who thrive in high-pressure, remote environments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide emergency response and medical care on site
- Support site-based health and safety initiatives
- Conduct routine clinical assessments and treatments
- Contribute to training, drills, and emergency preparedness activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Assist with D&A testing and injury management

Role Requirements:

Essential:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry
- Cert IV in Healthcare (Ambulance) or Diploma of Emergency Health Care (or higher)
- Cert III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
- HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drug & alcohol testing
- Advanced First Aid - (HLTAID009,HLTAID011,HLTAID014)
- Construction White Card
- Manual WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Strong computer literacy

Highly Desirable:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- SCBA/BG4 qualifications for underground response
- Manual WA HR/MR-Class Driver’s Licence
